5th AIR MAGDEBURG at the Airport Magdeburg

New date for the general aviation trade fair 

Propellers will be rotating from 29 June to 1 July 2012

After the great success of the 4th AIR MAGDEBURG in September 2010 we are presently preparing the next fair in 2012. The date has been brought forward from the beginning of September to 29 June - 1 July 2012.

Successful concept at the Airport Magdeburg 
The AIR MAGDEBURG has developed into an important meeting point for general aviation within the recent years. For the 5th time exhibitors and visitors of the aviation industry will come to the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg, from 29 June to 1 July, 2012. The fascination of “aviation” can be experienced in all its diverse facets. Everything about aviation, from model aircraft to business jets, will be presented in four exhibition halls. The focus will lie on aviation sports.
In 2010, exhibitors especially appreciated the straightforward procedure of the clients' and demonstration flights. Visitors were also impressed by the slot-free approaches as well as the relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the AIR MAGDEBURG. Its central position in the heart of Germany is particularly attractive for potential visitors from East European and Scandinavian countries.

Change of date 
The project manager, Stefanie Hesse, explained that the change of date was necessary for two reasons: “First of all, we had some difficulty with the weather in the last years. Especially the exhibitors and visitors of the fair in 2010 will remember the bad weather conditions. Therefore we hope that the weather at the end of June will be decisively better. The other reason is that, with the earlier date, we prevent scheduling conflicts with other aviation fairs. 
So the weekend from 29 June to 1 July, 2012 will be totally dedicated to aviation.
